Carro

It is famous for the production of handmade clay paknown as “I testi”. The main centre, Carro, located downstream of the hill of Velva, on one of the crossings that enables the communication between the Val di Vara and Sestri Levante. It is a center with an agricultural and commercial vocation, part of the park of the Cinque Terre, surrounded by chestnut and pine trees. Carro is also the birthplace of the famous violinist Paganini.
